Good Morning
Come sit with me by the LAVENDER lilac
near the back porch stoop.
The FRAGRANCE is so up lifting this time
of year.
Listen to the WHISPERS of hungry insects
in their moment of SPLENDER.
Taunting and laughing at each other as they
share sweet juices of morning BLISS.
Their TRANQUIL demeanor reminds me of
dinner with family.
The soft DULCET harmonious chatter of
little children right before the table is
WAFTED like ravenous locus.
See the lilac bush LILT in the spring breeze,
such an ELOQUENT way of saying
good-morning.
