Good Morning
The light from the sun fills the window in the kitchen.
Not all at once mind you, but at it’s on speed.
The little birds outside in the trees move slowly at first.
“Cheep, cheep, mom, I ‘m hungry”…
The flowers open their pedals to receive beams of warmth.
They know it is just beginning, so fresh, so new.
The whole world is full of possibilities.
The sky has no clouds today,
so there is only the promise of blue.
Beautiful blue.
The grass is ready for a walk,
Wake up.
Come Outside.
Be alive.
Bring your coffee, bring your heart.
It needs to be warmed as well.
To long in the dark, ready,
for a new day.
Hum with the bees, their cheerful song.
Let it bring the kind of peace, you have missed.
Breath slowly with purpose.
He is there.
He is always there.
Beside…
You!
