Image result for the demons win

There's a monstrous beast I feed (Though I cleanse its bloody chin) 'Tis that bitter, vainglorious truth That my demons ... always ... win. Still, so starved in grim defeat ... I'll be damned, should it not eat.

They may win a battle here or there... but you win most I believe. (You are a kind and gracious person. A good and honoring son. A generous adoring father... a person who values others and chooses peace again and again.). They may win some battles—we are all fallible—but in the big picture and in the most important ways you shine.

I keep coming back to this one... it is haunting. Those few lines hit their mark and stay with you. One thing occurs to me, that we have an enemy and he is a liar ‘cause your demons don’t always win.

Oh, I wish that were true, PS, but it seems they keep claiming me ... one way or another, through defeat, or sometimes just plain surrender. I DO believe love and grace have power over everything, they just seem to be someone ELSE'S power right now. Blessings, Dear Friend. <3

A gripping write of desperation, truly deep and dark, haven't seen this side of you for a while, must have been a purge of sorts.
