Good God
You are a good, good Creator
Who spoke and there was light
Long before there was day and night
You are a good, good Creator
Yes, God is good, God is good
The devil’s a bad, bad devil, ‘struth
You’re Alpha and Omega, Aleph-Taf
Majesty in Three, most ardent of lovers
You do everything to ‘suade us believers
There is much I won’t ever know
I know who you are, the Great I Am
And I’m loved by you, yes I am!
You’re a good, good Creator
Molding order out of rebellion, pride, and greed
Any new Earth - playground for the glorified
You are a good, good Creator
Who spoke and there was light
Long before there was day, or stars, or night
Human works fade, our boasts wither
The Spirit hovers over all in love
Thrice majestic God, Father-Son-Holy Ghost!
