Good Advice

If you want an easier life, With much less trouble, stress and strife, When temptation looms ahead, Or raises up it's ugly head, Ignore the opportunity, To bend the rules and you will see, Life will seem a whole lot smoother, And you'll be wound a whole lot looser. You won't be so oft on edge, Or feel you have to fudge or hedge, When asked about some point in time, Or fear someone may hap to find, That you did go against the rules, And then you'll feel ashamed, a fool. Then you'll lose face 'fore one and all, With none to blame for such a fall, Except yourself and your bad judgement. The smell of a sneak can be quite pungent. It hurts to know that you aren't trusted, But that's what happens when you get busted. Then you're mad and think they're mean, Because of the whole embarrassing scene; But trust is earned and honor a prize, So keep your nose clean and open your eyes.
