There are second chances
Times to put away unforgiveness
And reach into your heart
Give generously of all your hope
There are beautiful moments
Times to appreciate what God gives you
Discover all that is promised
By a glimpse of God’s wisdom
There are people sent to you
Who God intends you to help
With kindness, gentleness, and love
That comes from the depths within
There are memories that will fill you
With patience and understanding
For the ones who have gone before
To attempt a relationship with the Lord
There are purposes sent by God
To give you a chance at true love
Love that is alive and survives
All the tests of time and insight
There are precious inspirations
Sent down from the Lord above
Built on joys, hopes and faith
All the sensations of pure love
There are guides in heavenly angels
Who give us protection from hurt
And fill us with a sense of acceptance
That comes from the heart of God
There are welcoming parts of the heart
That remind the soul to have faith
And give everything they can give
To the One who understands it all
There are compassions that promise
To relieve pain and reassure anxieties
Give the heart a chance to remember
God’s will is alive and well, living in them
