God's Way
The ice is everywhere today.
And yesterday,
And like the day before.
God's way of making me stay put.
All the schools are closed, shut down.
Not a late start,
Nor a two hour delay.
God's way of keeping me home, safe.
I am restless, irritated.
Feeling held back,
I'm totally confined.
God's way of showing Her power.
The ice is everywhere today,
On all the trees,
Covering highways androads.
God is in charge, as usual.
