God's Remedy For Your Sinfulness - Acts 3: 19

God has a plan by sending His son
here to earth so to rescue us from hell
which is where our sinfulness takes us
if we don't turn back to escape satan's cell

The Lord grants the gift of repentance
in the power of the holy spirit divine
so in repenting faith to believe enters
coming to know Christ is a true sign

God calls His own to a changed life
to be converted living unto the Lord
searching the scriptures follow its ways
abiding in the knowledge of His swift sword

This is the work of God's spirit
working in the heart deep within
so your sins are blotted out
through Jesus having died for our sin

God's remedy for your sinfulness
Jesus shed His blood, our sin to atone
this plan God devised before eternity
for His own glory, from cross to throne

("Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out,")
Acts 3: 19 (ESV)
