God, Why Is It So
I do not claim to be a poet
But my wife reads it so
My God, Am I dreaming!
No, no, no it never can be so
My wife and my kid’s mother
The star of my life, my queen
To give herself to another
God, why is it so
I sought for months for the truth
And the story unfolds in your eyes
My heaven I found in your face
All my dreams were crushed alive
God, why is it so
My pain cannot be understood
A demon and coward he is
Get out of my sight or I strike you
Dead in your shameless shame
Ruin my home and my name!
God, why is it so
I walk in the dark alone
Ghostly it seems at times
But find no sudden peace
Because he’s still stalking
Like a liar he is
God, why is it so
You hold the key
The key to all my pain
My beautiful wife Melody
Who the angels believe in
Unlock the door of my pain
Rid this poltroon from my life
So we my live our life together
My wife, my angel from heaven
God, why is it so
