God Knows Where I Am
God Knows Where I Am
Except for docs and pills that work,
I’d know not where I am.
Frightening to learn and really see
the lean tightrope I walk.
“Linda, Linda rest in peace.
If only you’d let go
and trusted just a little bit.
What healing you might know.”
It’s hard to say where true fault lies
around her or within.
The cracks were wide that she slipped through
to bide ten miles away.
With God’s great grace
she lived a year on apples and rainwater,
and in due time He called to rest
the bane of his loved daughter.
Each day of life, I ask in prayer,
“Dear Father keep my mind.”
And give thanks for a balanced state
of rationality.
