God Kept Me

The enemy my take my
things but I have something
much valuable than
silver or gold
It's something eternal
everlasting life in Jesus
Christ
Though the things in this
world may pass away
My treasure is in my
Heavenly home where thieves
do not break in and steal
nor rust or dust decay
I await my homecoming to
be with my Lord
Tonight I could've been killed
but I was not afraid tonight
I knew I was ready to meet
my Savior in the sky, in the
sweet by and by
