Gold At the End of the Rainbow

Simple reminder in Genesis 9 rainbow we see in the cloud, sign from our God that He honors His Word. Balaam affirms the demeanor of God. Numbers gives verification - God is not human for He does not lie. Six, if not seven, bad habits God hates; chronicled down in the Proverbs - lying – deception is listed twice. All of us need to endorse such a rainbow; speaking no lies; reaffirming our word, earning pure gold in the end. August 14, 2019 Inspired by these biblical references: Genesis 9:12-16; Numbers 23:19; Proverbs 6:16-19. .

Continued... lying, but deception is listed twice. I love that you’re not a deceiver but a believer! Enjoyed! Hugs...Kim

I'll return with a second comment. Blank verse I have discovered should leave some "fill-in-the-blanks" for the audience. I've have edited my piece (after contest) to reflect a more open-ended read. Should have done it before.

I may understand more of your poem than most. I recognize six...if not seven line (so cool). Line 3 gets me started with this point: I took a class on Romans and the teacher so aptly taught that on one side of the cross man falls under wrath but when you choose the Lord you move to the side of righteousness. He covers us with his righteousness so when God sees us He sees Jesus and changes us day by day.

thank you, Kim, for commenting twice. I'm glad that we share in common a faith in God. I love the poetry of the Bible such as that line from Proverbs.
