The phone is ringing, ringing ring ring ring
But I won't answer it
I just keep on singing, singing
God is talking to me
So I got to praise Him
You see God is on the phone
And He won't leave me alone
Until I give Him full praise
Until I say His Holy, Holy name
In the moment that He whispers
He settles me
But I won't pick up the phone
I'm ashamed to be alone
Mustn't backslide now
hello hello I'll
Talk to my Father
Even though I don't want to bother
You see God is on the phone
And He won't leave me alone
Until I give Him full praise
Until I say His Holy, Holy name
In the moment that He whispers
He settles me
A ring, ring, ring
I still sing, sing, sing
the phone is ringing and it's for me
It's God, Jesus and the Angels
On a party line
They all say I'll be just fine
