When the stars glistened In the darkest of skies There was a wish that listened To the joy in the night When the autumn sighed In the September pines There was a wonder to decide To breathe in the beautiful quiet When the snowflake fell down In the silence of the smile There was magic on God’s playground To play the music of remembrance When the laughter delighted In the moments of hope There was a fire to be ignited To spark pleasure in every soul When the rainfall wrote its story In the dance of exultation There was grace bringing such glory To flow from the heavenly summits When the darkness faded In the silence of the shadows There was smokey peace shaded To swirl from the foggy blankets When the lightening flashes In the brilliance of the evening There was fear that turned to ashes To remind the heart God is near

"When the rainfall wrote its story/ In the dance of exultation/ There was grace bringing such glory/ To flow from the heavenly summits".... There is joy in every beautiful scene and occurrence, telling of an immaculate presence that is hovering over us and inviting us to rejoice. My heart got lifted up to Heaven, reading your beautiful verse, Gina. It has given me a good feel.
