Silence paints even the shadows in hues of serenity and soft song that leaves the soul sure of grace that abides on heartfelt psalms – by poet
With a gentle whisper, kissing naked skin
In laughter and soothing intimacy
Joy fades into the tangerine sunset
Melting away all pain and regret
Leaving only assurance that serenity
Paints notes of love across the lavender light
Of an evening prayer and promise
To the One who knows the depths of the heart
And leaves the soul trusting faith’s word
Verses of love, hope and faith
Touch the thoughts with affection and grace
Pure praise poured out on the Father
Who welcomes His child into the heart to heart
With a voice that calms, sooths and confirms
That His love is a living thing – like the wind
It breathes harmony into the hereafter
Quieting every worry and anxiety
With perfect silence, flowing over with
Pure, sweet devotion and adoration
Exaltation of the One who is alive on the inside
An all-consuming fire who exhales light
And inspires the heart to cry
Tears of blessing and glory
Warmth in the soul who knows
God is Alive!
