God Gave Me You You Lay Dormant
As I awaken you lay dormant beside me
God gave me you your beautiful
Before breakfast a short prayer
And a minimum three chapter bible reading
God gave me you your faithful
All for me, a teen, a man of low self esteem
You accepted me, you married me
God gave me you to me
Now things have changed children are gone, they're grown
With families on their own
God loan you to me for awhile
God gave me you your beautiful
God gave me you your faithful
God gave me you to me
God loan you to me for awhile
You're now deceased been gone a year now
The youth in me is lonely now
But the truth is just as in the beginning
You and the Lord lay dormant beside me
