God Gave Me You You Lay Dormant

As I awaken you lay dormant beside me God gave me you your beautiful Before breakfast a short prayer And a minimum three chapter bible reading God gave me you your faithful All for me, a teen, a man of low self esteem You accepted me, you married me God gave me you to me Now things have changed children are gone, they're grown With families on their own God loan you to me for awhile God gave me you your beautiful God gave me you your faithful God gave me you to me God loan you to me for awhile You're now deceased been gone a year now The youth in me is lonely now But the truth is just as in the beginning You and the Lord lay dormant beside me 09/18/17 written by James Edward Lee Sr.
