God-Blest Summer
Summer is a God-blessed season of delight
Offering avenues toward life-building’s height
For body, heart, soul* and faith’s wellness-uplifting
Midst spiritual retreats during revival plight!
Summer provides time for nature-trip exposure
Of rejuvenating treks devoid of pressure
While climbing upward, reaching hill’s peak with triumph
Thanking the Lord that His creation gives leisure!
Great vacation-adventures reign in Summer days
With opportunities of joyous bonding ways
For families, fellowships and friendships’ reunions
Bringing loved ones together in gratefulness’ praise!
Let’s maximize gracious Summer privileges
Spending them well along wondrous advantages
With invigorating basking-in-the-sun bliss
And exhilaration-filled swimming laps’ plunges!
We indeed thank the Lord for His Summer blessings
Of physical fitness with sweet sleep’s amusings
Around strengthening social ties within love-cord
Upon volunteer-work of service appraisings!
Great experiences of Summer magnificence
Are grand memories with splendid iridescence
Imparting lessons for victorious endeavors
As led by God toward next season’s influence!
