- Glimmering Stones In Moonlight -

    - Nature's treasures -
are worth more than money and gold in your pocket -
                                                                quote by poet

A light breeze, soft as a little cat's paw
In the moonlight on the beach, quiet and calm
a bluish light with hints of silver on the horizon
The stars above, I’m lost in the beauty
Waves touch the feet, erase the footprints

A secluded gem, a sight to explore
    Of the thousands, wonderful treasures
A secret paradise, so unique and peaceful
Safely hidden between grain of sand
Quartz stones that glitter in the moonlight

Love to turn them over and over in my hands
Provides a soothing and softening effect upon touch

Anne-Lise, you have a direct and wonderful way to make it easy for me to follow your line of thinking. It's a pleasure to read really! BTW, you can take quartz rocks in the dark and scratch them together to make an internal spark. Have you tried that? Something to do with the crystal structure and electrons moving inside. You probably knew that already. Take care.

Wonderful poem, Anne-Lise, it focuses on a quiet beach, the moonlight, the stars, and the sensations evoked by the gentle waves and the sand. It hints at themes of solitude, discovery, and the peace found in nature, as well as the tactile experience of holding quartz stones. Best wishes for the contest
