golden leaves turning into russet a beautiful day for our anniversary our eight-year-old listening and giggling Glad his parents love each other Sad for his friend though Because his friends parents never got along And were now getting a divorce Which was tearing his friend up

Caren, sounds like you had a wonderful anniversary, kind of balanced by the sad experience of the friend's parents. I'm glad your eight-year-old could experience the difference.

It is sad how some kids get stuck in that situation and others don't. I was one of the first kind. A nice read.

Hello Caren, glad that you and your husband had a good anniversary together. Couples that have children and divorce make their children sad. they blame themselves thinking it is their fault. Then they have ti decide which parent they want to live with. This would be horrible to go through this as a child. \hgs.
