Withdrawal symptoms are killing me Give me your LSD Love's Sexy Desire Give it to me, Baby Multiple trips With your firm grip Licking my lips Making me strip gliding on hips honey drips...drips Oh, baby, B A B Y Y Y Y I'm flying high!! You grunt and I sigh We're painting the sky LSD, telling this world bye bye Love's Sexy Desire Shoot it up me now Baby, you know how now Now NOW Oh...oh...WOW W~O~W !!!WOW!!! W~*~*~O~*~*~W Eileen I was just playing with words here. Please feel free to comment. If you find the content offensive...please let me know, and I'll remove the poem. I know drug addiction is NOT something to taken lightly. I know what addiction is. Please give me feedback. Hugs to one and all...My daughter informed me that LSD is not something you shoot up! Ahem....well, for the purpose of THIS poem, it is! ;)

W~o~w! Straight to the point, cutting corners sharp....no beating around the bush! While waiting for tonight, just drive off at speed in that convertible and feel the pleasure of anticipation. Love is a drug....you can be addicted to that euphoric high....I listened to Timothy Leary when I was back in college and he talked about all the LSD and free love in the 70's....both his speech and your poem were riveting ...hugs Tim

Yes....it can be euphoric, but it's so much more than that. Or...should be, anyway. Love is a decision. It's a sacrifice and pay the price type of thing...It's a share and bear type of thing...and bare, of course. That's lovely too! ;) It's a...for good times and bad times...sort of thing. Oh...but the feelings part is so sweet. I'm a hopeless romantic fool. At least I can write about the crazy highs....those never really go away with the one you truly love...There just need to be more of them! ;) Hugs

Not what I was expecting and that's what I like about it. Sex can also be an addiction so this metophor works perfectly. I can't speak for others but personally I am not offended.

Richard....thanks for the visit! :) Yes...sex can be an addiction. There is a fine line between having a healthy sexual appetite and being insatiable. ;) Hope all is well with you. I didn't know if this was over the top or not. I had written it some time ago but felt it didn't go with the Christmas spirit. Now...Time to shake things up a bit. Hugs! :)

This is my first poem this morning, not even had my coffee yet, and I got to tell you Eileen, this was great, there is a poem style I learned off of another website called Dirty Pretty, and this fits, you use both your words and your puncuations to displays an energetic and addicting topic. This is brilliant and enjoyable to read! I love it, a 7 and fav from me!
