God give me the words, As I ain’t that good. I can bend the knee, I can spout the prayer, But my heart…? My beating happy heart, All on its own, sings praises to your name. God give me the actions, As I ain’t that smart. I can bend the knee, I can spout the prayer, But my movements…? Let them be all that you wish, A shifting, pleasant dance to joyous song. God give me faith, As I ain’t that smart. I can bend the knee, I can spout the prayer, But my soul…? I give to you with all "free" will, As only you, have given me.

I relate to this wonderfully penned poem as I often ask God to please whisper in my ear as I want to do as He wishes but often feel uncertain what that might be. I have found thru meditation that with quiet and time, the universe will tell me but never by Thursday. I enjoyed. Poetry hugs ... CayCay
