Ribbons in the sky, tie us together Upon drifting pastel connections That I will never let go or forget Our sunset in a frame of memory You stood by my side, for me to see I can trust you will tell me the truth And I am grateful for all that you give Painted in the skies to the horizon Reaching in the distance to me Thank you my friend, for teaching Distinct lessons, I wanted to learn I will stand by you just the same Tied in ribbons on the gifts we share Heidi Sands 11/1/19
