GHOSTS FROM THE PAST The past has a way To reach out for you When you least expect It'll show up and it'll pull you Into a memory lane Where you don't want to be With things you thought buried With ghosts you don't want to see But please look ahead Raise your head Shake the gloom You have a beautiful future And it's right there, Just waiting for you So take that first step Out of the past Into the unknown Always believe in yourself Because you can do it! Because you are strong! Give the future a chance Bury the past That's where it belongs You are more brave than you think More than enough More than you know *** January 03, 2017

Thanks Daniel, I agree! I wrote it for a friend who's past just won't let him go on with his life... For him is a matter of not letting the past control / ruin his future. Hugs :)
