Listen to poem:
nothing really holds us in place
and I'm not sure where we go to
when we rear up
then some semblance of order
restores, everything settles
the constants continue
energy just overspilt in the moment
we don't know where we are
the light of the moon is not enough
more afraid of the words "it's all ok"
then letting chaos play out
for if you calm my senses
I look around
see everything is twisted
note no memory of arriving
no path to leave
no landscape to be part of
I see your eyes
and your efforts to still me
maybe that's enough tonight
for now, it's ok
