Gemini Garden, Silent One

“We are all petals of imperfection sharing the same sun.” - Silent One

Artistry thrives in Gemini Garden.
Gentle geraniums enjoy their
siestas in the shade as shy
pansies peek out at me from
a spot where radiant
roses and lovely
lilies delight
me with sweet
wafting 
scents.
I 
peer more
closely and
discover each
pretty petal is
fragile or slightly frayed.
Some have even wilted, yet
whispering poems in the wind,
they stand together under the sun.
Though flawed, they are imperfection’s beauty.

Dear andrea, this is absolutely gorgeous, the imagery and the depth of what youv conveyed too here is beyond impressive and so thought provoking! How each petal when one observes mindfully , would see, no one is perfect, all in nature too supports that idea! How youv interpreted the quote and written this double etheree in perfect syllables in such a descriptive manner using various flowers too is what makes this stand out for me! As soon as i read this i knew is a fave for me! Congratulations

Andrea, you make a very salient point that what we see can change if we look closely. The lack of absolute perfection as you say is not what makes something pleasant to look at! Flaws and wear and tear do add something meaningful.
