Geico Gecko

A gecko who represents GEICO
My fame sure continues to grow
     And because I am cute
     I have money to boot
Who’d guess I’d been raised in a ghetto

Insurance I’m in, so let’s begin
Assessing your worth, to your chagrin
     No policy covers
     That place where you hover
Think we insure bats? You’re mistaken!

The good old Insurance Companies. I have heard many stories on them, where they change their tune when they have to pay out. Nice Limerick Carolyn, very apt....:)

Ha-Ha-Ha. The gecko can take a hike! I compared Geico's rates and they're higher than almost any other insurer. Interesting how they chose to be represented by a reptile. Quite appropriate if you ask me. If you did enter this in a contest, I'm sure it would be a winner.

By the way, I'm reading a novel now called The Atlantis Revelation by Thomas Greanias. He also wrote Raising Atlantis and The Atlantis Prophecy. The guy is a regular Atlantis nut, as am I. I'll let you know it they're any good. Have you heard of them? Love, Dave

...Very dificult form, the limerick, and you are a real brave poet to do it...I hate them.... I find it immensely difficult to do the rhythm like you....other than an occasional competition entry, I avoid them.....I enjoyed yours though.....best wishes ..Syd

Smile ~ Very light-heartedly brushed and touched by the colours of bright and dark; amid the flavours sweet and sour upon the canvas covered in both, humour and thought "My 'Dear, Precious & Priceless Carolyn Devonshire!!!'" ~ Smile, I love that little Gecko and, I happen to have viewed a few Bats in my Time also; but, I have yet to behold them hanging from the darkened rafters still, I know that's where they sometimes do dwell and, one day, I Am going to go find a few ~ ....Cont:)
