It was a somber cloudy day, sadness weighed heavy on us all. The family gathered to pay final respects. Gregorian chant filled the air as we looked up to heaven. We were burying a good man. He had been a role model, a loving husband and a caring father. the finality painfully sinking in goodbyes surreal

Line, It's a fine gathering, even in somber weather. Fitting for the best love offered, though they have to go. Only questions left it seems. -Richard

It seems huge loss can feel unreal and can't seem to be felt all at once, great poem - I'm not sure who or when, but sorry for your loss.
