Leaves gather on the forest floor
Whispering secrets, gentle and peaceful
Crisp as the sunrise, abiding its time
Lighting the dawn with silent prayers
Sensations of grace poured out on the soul
Naked branches, once clothed in green
Gray and crisp, like the sigh on the wind
Breaking through, breathless, swirling
Twirling – a dance of pure delight, inspiring
Melodies, sweet songs, stirred in the heart
Graceful caresses of frost on the abundance
Plants who will soon sleep, a slumbering serenity
Flowing joy through the veins, the senses
Calm and cool, reflections of the reconciliation
Between the summer and the autumn moons
Gentling laughter, coloring the moments in secrets
Hues of mystery, clandestine moans from a time
When October met November with a brilliance, insight
Brought to life on the fires of a burning passion, a prayer
For moonlight walks and rain scorched engagements
Front porch memories flash through dreams, fragrant
With the scent of steaming coffees, cinnamon
Flavors, intense with the feelings brought to life
Awakening autumn with a brave and strong hope
For the humble kindness of hearts who know that love
Abides in the praises of this season’s thanks
