Thanks Terry I’d already told him not to (butt in) on my personal comments boxes and chats with other poets , but of course Tommy was feeling insignificant and just went ahead and did it again the other day, and also left me strange reference numbers, knowing quite well I’m not religious, so I called him out, he got a good telling off here yesterday for his sins, but in the end I granted him a pardon, shame he deleted all his comments! But I have them screenshot for posterity lol! Cheers David

Unwelcome intrusions are NEVER well received. Non-believers were once called heretics & burned at the stake, and I prefer we don't fall back into that depravity. A trophy win from anyone will not serve to silence my opinions or dull my indignation. As the great bard put it--To thine own self be true. I also have no desire to be witnessed to. I too am searching for existential answers & don't want to feel obligated or suffocated by one-doctrine. Luv ya, a poet friend indeed. Congratulations David!

Thank you so much Anaya for such a reinforcing comment, yes indeed terrible atrocities have been carried out throughout history in the name of religion, I choose to be agnostic and search for existential answers, rather than unwanted or unasked for indoctrination, religi-bombing a personal conversation between two poets, after being told not to do it, is a form of persecution, more reminiscent of the inquisition years, we all know how that ended, not very good! you are very appreciated Anaya, cheers David

Congratulations on POTD David! Attempts to convert (or change the mind) on religion or politics are always fascinating (well not in the moment, but as a concept). It's a likely fail, so it makes you question the motive. The only conclusion, like you have poetically observed, is a lack of respect for the other party and their views. A bit of an eye opener... and a cause to wince slightly... (Last line and first comment wise)
