Galaxy of Wonder

As I lay down to sleep, My eyes flickering in moonlight through the window, My thoughts falter and always return to you In phases like the moon Calming, glowing, peaceful, always moving and returning to me I know that you can see it too and feel the comfort As if my arms are around you and you are safe As if the stars are sparkling for us In a celebration of our love, lighting up the sky Uniting our dreams when we sleep We are two souls on the same path, in a galaxy of wonder Then I wake to see the sun rise, shining upon us again Heidi Sands 12/7/19
