Notes About The Poem

Galactic Gathering

Galactic Gathering

Cosmic colored creations divinely dance,
With silent notes whimsically whirling
In surreal songs of universal luminescence.
Glowing gems in free flight rhythm,
Spirally synced collective consciousness
Emitting vibrancy in lengths of light through
Cosmic cluster’s blissful birth which
Emanates life force energy to sage souls
In the quiet hours of distal dreams that
Reigns, resonating with heaven’s harmony.

Hi Connie, this is a galactic wonder. It is so strongly written with such peaceful visions within the lines. A cosmic dance that does sing in the mind. I always love to look at the sky, I can lose myself in its peace for hours. It is where I find my poetry. Excellent write Connie. Has to be a fave. Have a wonderful evening. Hugs always ..... Mike. Beautiful poem and subject, Connie. It especially resonates with me because my aspiration is to take my own photo of that galaxy (the Andromeda Galaxy). One day it will collide and merge with our Milky Way. Best to you. ~Eric

I am very pleased that you enjoyed my poem Eric. I was very busy at the time you left this comment so I missed responding. My grandson and his mom were visiting from California. Most nights here the night sky mesmerizes. Thank you very much. Blessings xxoo

Did this one ever win? It's been a while and I never checked to see. Did you know Geoffrey here at Soup, Connie. I just did a blog for him. I was informed by a friend that he died today. He was someone who felt like we do about what's happening in the world. He is out of the mess and in a much better place.

Even in Hawai'i, the view is not as clear as it was decades ago. What a shame future generations can't see that so they understand what pollution does to their world. Enjoyed, Connie! Aloha!

Beautiful writing. Profound. Right there, in our heart's eyes and almost beliefs, yet remaining a true reach until actually, entirely, fully knowing. Will always be someway ahead of us. looking off endlessly into an ever expanding universe. Love it!

"Star Gazer" Listen to the sky- night and bright leading the eye- wells of dark deep with glitter, the speckled mind of a scholarly sitter- What does he expect to hear? Rhythmic run between sight and ear- shooter faint but clear of distant hollow to a crater near.

Thank you Joe. I have always been a star gazer. The night sky is so clear here. We can see billions of stars. Especially notable are the shooting stars. Blessings xxoo
