FULCRUM OF A ROSE
Line of inquiry: track where lies the fulcrum of the fragrance of a rose, then likewise find within, your soul.
in dawn’s quiet hush
morning dew clings to petals
the fulcrum, the fragrance of the rose,
lies here.
‘tis the scent of nature’s breath,
a bouquet created
when earth and light harmonize
in silence.
in siren song of morning dew
the fulcrum,
the fragrance of the soul
lies here.
‘tis the scent of God’s breath,
a festoon created
when body and soul harmonize~
in silence.
‘tis the lightness of being,
a balance created
from the weight of
unspoken truths.
‘tis hidden in the strength of vulnerability,
a rising tide born of resilience
where every tear becomes a
river of wisdom.
‘tis pausing, seeking peace in the smaller things—
a fleeting breeze, a rustling leaf,
searching for understanding
in quiet, sunlit beams.
‘tis not a place, but a journey
a constant seeking
like the rose’s petals,
a gentle unfolding.
breathe deeply, smell the fragrance within,
for amid one's thorns and beauty
lies the sacred garden,
the fulcrum of one's soul.
