From Sight and Heart

Jagged edged peaks at dusk Rising God-like into misty billows Disappearing in fractions Reduced to memories. Just as light erases sight Emotions fall blind to loss Sunsets seem eternal When all love is lost

Great poem, Charlie. That first stanza is quite a picture...your language is perfect...from the "misty billows"... to the use of the word "loss"...and to end with "lost"...the second stanza is also powerful on its own. Excellent poem! Always, Laura

I think that's poetry's purpose, to speak to matters of the heart and soul. Thank you, Eileen, you're too kind...
