Green as the grass He hops over the land Smelling the marsh gas Hopping on command Little ladies, all green Like the leaves on the trees Yearning to be his queen Calling out to the breeze Some call them toads Others say they’re frogs They travel all the roads Live in ponds and under logs Green as the grass They hop over the heart With webbed feet and class They make beautiful art! Ribbit! I'm glad I came across this poem too. A cute poem. My daughter loved frogs as a child and was always bringing them home from a pond in the neighbor's back yard. She would relate to your poem and smile, me too.

Regina, I am glad I found your poem; I loved your poem, but you forgot to write Nursery Rhyme at the end of your title, like I do sometimes, I forget what the instructions had said. Hugs Eve
