Frenemies
Her frenemies intend to tear her life apart.
She is a victim of their vicious rumor mill.
While sweetest smiles conceal a dagger for her heart,
She hears more lies and knows these beasts pursue her still.
What still-chained evil waits to pounce and have its fill?
"Frenemies" is a popular oxymoron that refers to enemies who pretend to
be your friends.
