Freedom For My Soul

Freedom comes in many ways Releasing me from turbulent days I need my space to find my soul Using ingredients from pain, to become whole It may be during travel, across open land Or in my cozy home, candlelight on a stand It may be a striking view, with no-one by my side As I'm exposed to the world, with nothing to hide Sometimes, I find it in the music from notes I play As it softly caresses me and carries me away Oh, so many things, so many places for me to be free When the light of my soul reflects back to me Heidi Sands 12/21/23

This is so beautiful and heartfelt, i love the flow of this especially the line “ Sometimes, I find it in the music from notes I play” i agree freedom comes in many ways, sometimes just by shifting focus. Pleasure reading your work. Sending you light always
