Freedom Come To Me

Until we forever remain chained in bondage The bondage of our desires and our sins, Will we in the garb of humans not ever be delivered? Will we not breathe freedom? Is death not better than bondage? Tell me O' Sweet, tell me, Forsaken by destiny Forsaken by my Lord, Dead men do not suffer pangs of separation Nor have thirst for desire; But life burns us in a never ending fire Until only death set us free, To be born again To be bond again, Freedom come to me.

Nice free verse Nikhil. Freedom is often elusive and even when it comes its relative at best. It's easy to fall back on the easier option, death, but it takes courage to live. And humans have never been known as cowards.
