Free Cee In Shade of Uncertainty
IN SHADES OF UNCERTAINTY
I wish I knew all that about you…….
The way you hold your knife,
probably purely demurely,
At a banquet set no more beautifully than you appear to me
As you draw near to me
The way a fork might cling to your lips just long enough to enchant a man like
me
If you could like a man like me
Who would be a spoon to your knife
And could you really change my life?
I wonder about the way a cup of tea might near your mouth refined
With gentility and a proclivity unto passion
Oh, but that I might be that cup
With steam rising from the heat of infatuation and infinite desire
If only I could be that cup by heaven willed
I would be tea from Thailand never spilled
Thinking about the life we two could build
Were wonder willed
I wish we shared memories
That brandy flavored breeze
Visions and vistas of violins
An endless row of stringed instruments to orchestrate the mystic music that
would follow us onto every street your feet would baptize as they tread ever
so lightly over a street of concrete and considerable comfort
I would like to see the way your eyes might ever wider grow when you watch
an infant being infantile
To see the curvature of your smile
That would thrill me, body and bone
I’d like to know all these things about you
Yet I don’t even know what color eyes you own
