HE DOESN'T UNDERHAND It's another dark dank morning and it's time to rise and shine jump out of bed that's just about eroding it's another uncertain day with blood as a significant sign it's another morning as he awakes to bombs exploding his comrades band together early in the morning never certain of what will come to be the week before the platoon was mourning weeping for a brother who fought an enemy he could not see it's three-thirty and the sun is still asleep as the sergeant screams out orders in the dark it's pouring rain but they must fight in mud that's knee deep and the sergeant didn't scream so much as bark this is Private Bell's first day of duty in the mid-east fighting for oil, money and an agenda he doesn't understand his rifle has yet to be fired at any enemy or any beast but the enemy's did and swiftly blew off Private Bell's left hand © 2012.....copyright PHREEPOETREE ~free cee!~

The verses of your work remind me a bit of the song "Silent Running" by Mike and the Mechanics. As usual, this is descriptive with decent rhyming.
