deliberate marks planned and executed with skill entire intention is depth without requirement spontaneous act/the decision everything else plays out with precision the creation of chaos whilst calm this is art replication is naïve to intimate within is the ladder within a window the bird that screams pages of a book that flick open/shut seeds being planted fall beyond the soil sleeper whose breath becomes the dream polite conversation from a smiling 2D face singular talon scratches discreetly out of sight roof thatching compromised for discovery when the rain falls and it will cause and consequence are always at play it takes a trained eye to see I don't know which is steadier calm materialising chaos or chaos that exudes calm you may project your view onto this canvas but I won't let it compromise mine Brian Strand Premiere 3rd Place

Thank you Kim, those snatches of images leap out like when trying to recall a dream and it's fading. You'll have to see how many you can spot in the painting haha

You capture not only Franz's raison d'etre but of the entire Abstract Expressionist movement. His chaos is captured in the calmness of your words. Yes, revel in his artistry, but never compromise your voice. Eye-opening.

Well you very first commented on my 'she cries for attention' poem Triny and I have to say this comment has met the mark for that, thank you! I'll just bathe in this comment for a while. It's a non academic write and based on the feeling I got from viewing the painting and a tiny bit of knowledge.
