Forgotten Valentine Card
She is an old lady of 98
Living in her own time
Saw the hearts of a Valentine Card
Thought to herself where is mine
With puzzled frown upon her face
An old memory floated by
Of a time and a place
Plus a card with angels that fly
She is remembering the handsome lad
Dark curly hair and dimpled smile
Who vowed undying love to her
Married her in grand style
Those memories have faded
Gone are the days of love
But nestled in an old tin box
Is the card she was dreaming of.
