Forgive Me Please
Forgive me please for my sharp tongue.
I didn’t realize I was doing you harm.
Forgive me please for offending you.
I was hurting when I lashed out at you.
Forgive me please for wounding you.
I spoke to quick and this is true.
Forgive me please- my dear friend.
I don’t want to stay in sin.
* Just thinking about the power of forgiveness on this morning. We must forgive one another
so our Heavenly Father will forgive us also. This was written in March of 2007. I thought it
was in my list of poems already posted.
