Forget Me Knot

If you have not met your Maker yet
You may owe your long life to a vet
Especially those
With tags on their toes
Who knew from the start you would forget

*Please note that none of us enlisted to
support a government which prohibits 
women from seeking medical treatment 
and prohibits doctors from providing it!

Nam He would always learn from a special source when a deceased unnamed soldier was arriving into the US. Dressing in his uniform he would salute them as they arrived on the runway. Your poem moved me so much. I'm grateful to have found it. Hard to believe it is the same country that "welcomed" your uncle home . . . . .

Rico Leffanta November 12, 2021 at 10:13 AM Completely lacking in integrity, Congress reneged on providing pay and benefits to African-Americans, 250,000 filipinos, DOD conract employees, and other WWII allies. The Supreme Court ruled Congress does indeed have the right to change the terms of an employment contract after the work has been performed.
