Forever

There’s no superstition. Like octopus slime. Or caramel cake. I ate enough to survive my eyes being washed off. I also feel awkward when I wear the newest type of blanket. Or shaved too close to the line. I had enough awkward dancing lessons against the wilted socks. If someone knows how to make sentences against my will… I would eat if they asked me to. But I don’t know how to relive the cabinet door. Or the mirror. When I floss my teeth, I make memories. I wish I had the scissor breath. Or the debit card. But without you, I have a blossoming gym membership. That lasts forever.
