Autumn is near ......a wild unbroken spirit
slumbers in the wind
Countless leaves tremble 
ready to tumble 
in ragged disarray,   
 Radiant light gathers
 spreads it's  amber glow 

at a silent signal - 
forest treasures flow
leaf gold confetti in 
unfettered  flight.

lovely! The opposite seasons for Aus. It must have been a surprise for the first northern travellers to Southern lands to find the seasons different. That 'silent signal' is mysterious like the mass coral spawning - only this is a falling. J :)
