The candle shines and flickers My muse has not burnt out Dancing with the flames, words spout Landing on the page like stickers Peace swirls in clouds of fun Yet, I have so much to say Maybe another day For now, my soul has won Heidi Sands 8/14/21 A 1st placement in Brian Strand Rhyme Me Poetry Contest
