For Just One Moment Remember
Words that I wish could be heard but death has taken them away, These Veterans not celebrating this day but have given their life so we can live. BBQ and hamburgers a holiday, death has no remembrance of this day, this day to remember their lost holiday.
Giving freedom to all answering the last call, gone without notice only names written on a wall, secretly dying silently they have become fallen soldiers never returning home. This gift they give unknowingly until they fallen to the tune playing taps over their grave, a last salute to the brave not knowing what they gave.
This Veterans Day I appeal
For only one knee to kneel
Giving grace upon them
Respect to them
This end of life
For you and I
