For Constance

Faded black and white photos Loved ones lost long ago Girlish dreams, packed in a wicker chest Faded and worn from use and age Hope in my chest for a better tomorrow To be loved, protected and cherished For all life. Where is my Prince? Memories of a girlish heart packed in the chest Buried deep to forgetfulness Wonder if all the acquaintances would Recall the girl in the photos with fondness at all? For Constance LaFrance's contest Dusty box of Memories
