For Razmatazz
My friend had to let her precious cat go,
Raz had come of questionable age;
no one could ever figure it out,
but no matter she was still loved from day one.
And given the name of Razmatazz,
fed the best of food and given toys;
(but rejected playtime) given a cozy warm place to sleep,
and when sick- a search for medicine began . . .
But, one day, Razmatazz was just not right,
she was not acting normal and was obviously real sick;
so, off to the vet and the decision was made,
to end the suffering of this beloved cat.
Raz placed her head on that always loving hand,
with courage, my friend gave her Razmatazz;
the ultimate gift of love,
she gave Razmatazz wings to fly.
The cost of loving is grieving !
