In my hour of need, Screaming out, Beyond the blur, "Take heed." Though I cannot be certain this has happened before, Ripping this shell apart, Seen in dreams, This is what I was before. Dragged away with time of others, The selection process not my call, Transparent colors, never-ending thoughts, "Am I alone in this?" So much love for certain faces, "Why do they get to leave before me?" Golden footsteps from the path they walked, I am still trying to breathe the air. I can rise above all I've seen, I get dragged down only because of me, "I do what I do, when I do it!" Locked on time or hanging onto the wind, Cannot distract myself enough. What is portrayed in front, I know you feel when I cut, Interwined, Connected. Let me pass through it, Unscathed.... At peace.
